His Eminence Dr. Hassoun , The Grand Mufti of the Syrian Republic and head of the Supreme Iftaa' Council has discussed today with his guest Prince Henry the Sixth De Bourbon the recent situations in the region, and the importance of publicizing the culture of peace and debate in the world.
The discussion tackled the consequences of the unjust and aggressive attack on Lebanon, and the brutal , daily and savage actions of the Israeli forces against the Palestinians that shake the human conscience.
His eminence stressed the fact that the Arabian region is the cradle of heavenly jurisprudences from which the light was spread all over the world to announce peace, love and mercy, contrary to the shameful actions taken by the Israeli forces who shade the blood of women, children and old aged, as well as their intended crimes of violating the sacred purity of the holly places like the Easter Church and our Aqsa Mosque.
His Eminence Dr. Hassoun, highlighted the importance of respecting man's freedom which all heavenly jurisprudences have called for and which is violated savagely and daily by Israel.
Prince De Bourbon confirms the importance of saving the Holy Lands in the region by protecting its people from the aggressive Israeli attacks.
He also spoke about the attempts being taken by the US government to control the region and force new names for it like " The New Middle East " or the " Grand Middle East " , which is a very irrational behavior which contradicts all the habits and traditions of the this region and against the freedom of man.
Prince De Bourbon highlighted that the US government is pressing on Europe with false information about what goes on in the region through fake propaganda and mass media which has negatively reflected on the general European opinion.
Prince De Bourbon also confirmed that this mistake is to be corrected, and the real picture about what really goes on in the region must be cleared by unmasking the nasty actions done by Israel against the Palestinian and Lebanese people.
His Highness the Prince also mentioned that Israel is committing terrorist crimes in some countries of the world and accusing other sides in the region to provoke the international opinion against the people of this region.
Both Dr. Hassoun and Prince De Bourbon highlighted the importance of sincere mutual action to spread out facts about our region especially after September 11 attacks which Israel and the US government are taking advantage of to launch wars under the claim of terror fighting.
