His eminence The Grand Mufti of the Syrian Republic and the head of the Supreme Iftaa' Council Dr.
Ahmad Bader aldin Hassoun
received a delegation of Egyptian scholars headed by His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Hamid Alwasel, the former Mufti of Egypt.
Dr. Hassoun discussed the important role of Muslim scholars in motivating the determination and unifying the path of the Islamic and Arab nation to confront the challenges they face.
During the meeting, His Eminence Dr. Hassoun stressed the importance of presenting Islam in the correct way by revealing its human aspects and highlighting the importance of publicizing the universal culture of peace and debate , in addition to developing the religious speech.
The Egyptian delegation spoke highly of Syria's national and solid attitude and its important role in supporting the solidarity of the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon and responding to the human and national help calls and housing their Lebanese brothers and sisters during the brutal and unjust Israeli attack.
